Join John Kitchin and KC Trujillo Friday June 16 from 6-9pm for this unique Cacao and Sound Healing Journey. This offering combines the powerful heart-opening properties of cacao with the total immersion of your vessel in an ocean of sound waves emanating from gongs, flutes, crystal and metal singing bowls, drums and more. We will begin with a ceremony to honor and receive the magic of cacao. We will serve pure Columbian Cacao, which is a great source of antioxidants, iron, magnesium, and calcium. Cacao is a mood elevator, and potent heart medicine. It will prepare our bodies, minds & spirits for a sonic journey that will bathe your entire being in healing vibrations. After our Cacao ceremony, we set ourselves up in a supported, reclined, or traditional Savasana (corpse pose), to experience the sound healing.

John started playing drums and percussion in middle school around the age of 12, which set him on a lifelong musical journey which has since included learning several other instruments as well as developing his skills as a singer. In 2020 he did his 200hr Hatha Yoga Teacher Training at Shoshoni Ashram and Yoga Retreat in Rollinsville, CO, fully diving into the spiritual practices and yogic lifestyle there. During this time John developed an even deeper understanding of the healing power of sound and music, and has since shifted his focus as a musician towards sharing that healing energy with others through sound baths and devotional singing.
KC has a passion for cultivating safe spaces to explore healing, play, community and connection. As a recent graduate of the Be Free 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training program, and an ecstatic dance facilitator, she is a lover of movement and embodiment practices. Recently, KC has opened her heart to studying rhythm and music as a form of devotion, and is grateful to combine the medicine of sound with her love of ceremony.
